Ingredients

Part A

  • 335 grams cornmeal
  • 88 grams all-purpose flour
  • 9 grams baking powder
  • 5 grams baking soda
  • 7 grams salt

Part B

  • 120 grams sugar

  • 2 Eggs / 95 grams

  • 55g Butter

  • 380 grams milk

Methodology

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F (200 C).

  2. Soften the butter. Combine with the sugar and egg until creamy.

  3. Mix the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

  4. Cut the butter mixture into the dry ingredients. Add the milk until the mixture is consistent.

  5. Pour mixture into a greased cake pan. Bake for 20-23 minutes.
